What is a good at home recording software?

I have been singing for a long time now, and writing my own songs.There are no recording studios anywhere near me, so I can’t go get studio time like many people have suggested. I have everything BUT the software to record and edit the voice. I can’t start recording until I buy this software and wait for it to be shipped to my house, if needed. Now, the part that might make this hard. I have a price limit. Bad News, I had a 1,000 dollar budget and I used most of that for amps, microphones, stands, and of course my sound-proof wall. Therefore, I only have 60 dollars to use toward the software. Please help. Thanks so much.
